BlackRidge Companies Breaks Ground on $30 Million Project
Bozeman, MT – BlackRidge Companies, a Montana-based, developer has broken ground on a new multifamily project in northeast Oklahoma. Creekside Apartment Homes, a $30 million, 248-unit Class A luxury apartment home community is underway in Broken Arrow, Tulsa’s largest suburb.
“We are extremely excited to be entering this market,” said Andrew Braxton, BlackRidge Companies co-owner. “When we began researching various markets across the country to develop in, a few select markets continued to rise to the top. However, we knew we wanted to offer the lifestyle our apartment home community provides to an underserved area. As we continued our research we found this submarket caught our attention. The business fundamentals and strong leadership we found in Broken Arrow were some of the strongest we have seen and we knew it was a place we wanted to do business.”
Creekside Apartment Homes will be located on 15 acres at the corner of 51st Street South and 145th East Avenue in Broken Arrow. The Resident Clubhouse and the first building will open this summer and be ready for resident move-ins. The entire project will continue to open as buildings are complete and all buildings will be open by spring 2016.
The community will include 12 two and three-story garden style apartment buildings and feature floorplans ranging in square footage from 727 – 1,368. Parking will consist of 54 attached garages and 30 detached garages. Additional detached storage will be available and consist of 32 storage closets.
The apartment home community will be considered “best in class” due to its unique craftsmen design, attention to detail, and comprehensive amenity package.
This market-rate, pet-friendly community will have gated access and feature a well-appointed resident clubhouse, cyber café with Wi-Fi, a media/gaming room, 24-hr fitness center with top-of-the-line equipment, and business center. Other amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, grilling stations, outdoor fireplace, car care center, and a dog park.
Creekside will offer residents a comfortable lifestyle with amenities and finishes typically found in upscale, single-family homes. Apartment homes will feature 9’ ceilings and crown molding and include ceiling fans, a full-size washer and dryer, fully-equipped kitchen with Energy Star appliances, a pantry, refrigerator with icemaker, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and breakfast bar.
Other finishes and amenities will include woodgrain flooring in first floor apartments and spacious walk-in closets. Select homes will have a glass-enclosed shower, a garden tub, and a double vanity. All apartments will also have a private patio or balcony.

Creekside was designed by SGN+A Architects, Decatur, GA. The civil engineer on the project is Sisemore, Weisz and Associates Inc. and the general contractor is Key Construction. Both of these firms are from Tulsa, OK.
